Welcome to the newest edition of SpaceTech Weekly, your go-to source for space news. This recap is for informational purposes only and does not constitute any investment advice.

“Capital flows are tilting toward defense and safety in space, and stocks followed. After a rough July, space names bounced back hard this week, Voyager Technologies up 54%, Redwire up 38%, AST SpaceMobile up 29% and Rocket Lab up 28%.

The driver was simple: real numbers. Redwire beat Q2 revenue estimates and reaffirmed its outlook, Voyager raised its 2026 forecast after record bookings and Rocket Lab landed a $397 million Space Force contract to build and launch threat-tracking Flatellites, adding to its steady Electron launch cadence for iQPS’s SAR constellation.

Government demand told the same story elsewhere. Neuraspace raised €15.6 million to grow space-domain awareness, and contracts like Telesat’s Arctic Lightspeed show how much durable, secure connectivity work is flowing from defense budgets right now.

SpaceX was the outlier, dragged down by its post-IPO lockup expiration despite strong revenue growth, though it clawed back some ground late in the week. Execution and budget cycles remain the risks to watch.” - Commentary by Matej Pretković
